The Zarándok Turizmusért Nonprofit Kft. and the Permeo O.Z. have applied for the Interreg SKHU Small Project Fund for the Western Border Region Call for Proposals SKHU/WETA/1901/ in 2020.

The non-profit organization Zarándok Turizmusért Nonprofit Kft. and Permeo O.Z. have been independently of each other for a long time trying to organize events, programs and create opportunities, one of the main goals of which is to encourage youth, to promote a healthy active lifestyle, to create and maintain leisure activities, to create pilgrimages and to promote pilgrimages. In 2020, the organisations submitted a proposal to the Interreg SKHU Small Projects Fund for the Western Border Region Call for Proposals SKHU/WETA/1901/ "Innovative pilgrimage accessibility and orientation community database and data collection platform" for the development of an innovative web and mobile platform.

The objectives of the project are:

1. to provide a community data collection platform through an interface and embeddable interface for professional and partner organisations, nature trail information providers.

2. implementation of a single central information database for the Slovak-Hungarian pilgrimage route accessibility and orientation.

3. Free sharing of the pilgrimage trail accessibility and orientation data and database with relevant professional organisations (pilgrimage associations, forestry, municipalities, other NGOs).

Provision of a community data collection platform free of charge for related information services such as websites, mobile applications.

 

Activities to be implemented under the project:

1. marketing and communication; promotional activities; dissemination event

2. System and database development Extension - fine tuning

3. project technical leadership and project management and provision of office support

The proposal has been awarded a grant and the parties will carry out the tasks undertaken with 85% funding.

Project start date: 01-12-2020

Project completion date: 31-08-2021
